The Starburst pattern is one in a series of 4 patterns placed on the shape called "Eclipse." (The others were Oasis, Duet, and Pomegranate. A plain white version was also available.) According to a pamphlet released by Franciscan to promote the Starburst pattern, there are 50 pieces, or shapes, in the Eclipse line . A line-drawing found inside the pamphlet provides images of the basic shapes of each piece (which would be the same for the other "Eclipse" patterns). However, some of these shapes include more than one physical object, like a casserole dish and its lid, or a salt and pepper shaker set (both of which are labeled in the drawing as one "shape"). This drawing also gives an item number for each piece.
